Method 1 of 5 : Insufficient Storage

To check the available storage space to download an application, the space available should be larger than that of the size of the application, and it’s all apk files to install and run successfully. 

Step 1:Start by pressing the home button on your remote controller.

Step 2:Then take your cursor down to settings and click it. 

Step 3:From here, the after steps will depend on the kind of television you will be using.

  • Select for driver preferences, then storage, and then internal shared storage for availability on android 9.
  • Select storage and reset and then on internal shared storage for availability on android 7.
  • Select storage and reset and then on storage for availability on android 6 or less.

Step 4: From here, you can easily check your storage or available space. If you find it exceeds the limit, it should, or it’s filled up, then immediately delete unnecessary applications and add-ons and files to clear as much storage as possible. 

Method 2 of 5 : Uninstall applications

If there is not enough storage space left, then it is always good to uninstall a few applications and then clear your storage to make space for the new apps that you will need. Just keep when you uninstall an application; all data related to it and save on the device will be erased, so keep in mind to take a backup before following the steps. 

Step 1: Start by pressing the home button on your remote controller. 

Step 2: Then select settings by pointing your cursor over it.

Step 4: Then select an application that you want to uninstall.

Step 5: Then, long press on the application press uninstall. 

Step 6:And you are done with your uninstallation process, then click ok to confirm.

Method 3 of 5: Resetting the television 

If you find none of the steps mentioned above working in your case, then go for resetting your television. Or try to factory reset by pressing a small button at the back of your android television box.

Method 4 of 5: Stop every downloading or installing apps

Step 1: Again start by pressing the home button on your remote controller. 

Step 2:Take your cursor to the google play store and select it.

Step 3: Then select on My Applications.

Step 4: Then select for Downloading. 

Step 5: Then click to open the application icon.

Step 6: Select to cancel install or stop the downloading process entirely for all applications and then, one by one, restart it. The increased load may have caused the process to stop abruptly for a while.

It can happen that your device is not up to date for which you are facing such issues. Then you need to immediately update your device for smooth installation and running of programs.

Step 1: Start by clicking the Home button on your remote controller.

Step 2: Then go to settings. 

Step 3: Next search for internal storage or storage, this varies from device to device. 

Step 4: Then select device performances .

Step 5: Then search for Updates. 

Step 6: Click to check the latest update. If there’s any then download it and wait for your device to restart automatically.  After which you can download your apps.
