All 4-digit codes are valid. They will work well with your remote control to operate the TV.
How to manually program GE universal remote to Philips TV?
There is only one programming process for all versions of the remote. However, different codes are used to program each version.
Make sure that your remote control has fresh batteries, or have replacement batteries ready.
Hold down the Setup button on the remote control until a RED light appears.
Press and release the “TV” button
Next, enter the GE remote codes for Philips TVs. For CL3 remotes, enter 3031; for CL4 remote, use 6221; with a CL5 remote press 0181
When the code is entered correctly, the RED light will go off.
Now, point the remote at your TV and try pressing all of its buttons. If you can see that it responds to each button press, then you have paired successfully!
If some of the keys on your GE remote are not working with the TV, it means that you may have partially programmed it.
In such condition, you can re-program the GE remote to work with the Philips TV by using the another code from the list. However, it rarely happens. Mostly you will get the remote ready to be work with your Philips TV.
